Planning a trip? A beach holiday, or and adventure of a lifetime? This month’s pick of ethical and sustainable brands features two travel wear labels as well as stunning luxury fit for the catwalk (or the United Nations) and inclusive intimates.
Our Favourite Newly Rated Brands For June
Gandys
Gandys is an outdoor and adventure brand that likes to give back. The London-based label makes menswear, womenswear and luggage for the intrepid, but there's a lot more to it than that. Gandys was founded by brothers Rob and Paul, who lost their parents in the 2004 Asian tsunami when they were just teenagers. That tragedy inspired them to make a difference in the world, and so they established the Gandys Foundation. They now help underprivileged children with education, medication and nutrition.
TALI & TASI
For travelwear designed for adventures, look no further than Australian brand TALI & TASI (formerly Tasi Travels). Boasting a stunning collection of handmade garments in lower-impact materials that are made-to-order, you can feel good out in the world knowing you are leaving a light footprint behind.
Garments come in sizes XS/S, S/M, and M/L.
Teatum Jones
Teatum Jones is the luxury London-based label of Catherine Teatum and Rob Jones. Teatum Jones is known for its bold colours and textures with beautiful knitwear and flowing dresses. They're also a favourite of Good On You supporter Emma Watson, who wore a stunning blue suit by the label to the recent G7 summit.
Most items are available in sizes 8-16.
Kala
Kala is an intimates label all the way from New York. Kala's pieces are exclusively made in women-owned factories, using eco-friendly materials like GOTS-certified cotton and Tencel. This is a label that practices inclusivity too - with nude shades that match a spectrum of skin tones and inclusive sizing.
